We are very saddened to hear about the loss of “cousin” Steve. Our thoughts and prayers are with Scott and all the family.

Steve has been in many of our thoughts this past week. There are many memories. Some of my earliest memories of Steve are intertwined with the “hay-days” of snowmobiling, when we were just young kids. What an exciting time! Those days were spent tagging along with our dads and just trying to figure it out… That passion for the sport continued and turned out to be one of those common threads in life that take you from a long time ago to where you are today, for both of us…

Another memory I have is the first car! I will call it my first car. I remember spending a whole summer working on an old Plymouth I managed to buy and was trying to get it road worthy. Toward the end of the summer, when the car was finally ready to put on the road, Steve popped by and asked if I would sell it. I did… (in hindsight, I think he may have been monitoring my progress on that thing all summer long). Anyway, it was nice to see it on the road and nice to have Steve stop by the house with a load full of friends having fun in that old thing…

Steve made it a point to make many of the Warden family “doings” over the years and truly cared about everyone he was connected with, in some manner or another… I always enjoyed Steve’s smile, chuckle and wit when we got a chance to catch up. It was always fun to reminisce about the old days and talk about some of the current events in everyone’s lives. Steve was one of those guys that would take the time to listen and enjoy a few moments catching up… He will be missed.

Our deepest sympathy,

Jamie, Karen and all of the Warden family….

So sorry for your loss. I enjoyed talking and sharing a glass of wine with him at the wagon rides. He was a gentle soul with a laid back vibe.
