Hello Kim and Rick,
I was saddened to hear of your Mom's passing. I worked with her for 10 years at Ridge Road School. What a wonderful, sweet, caring lady. She helped me through many tough times during our time together at Ridge Road as my oldest son was a teenager at the time. I would drive her home almost everyday and we'd sit in their driveway and she would listen to my troubles. I always say she was my surrogate mother because mine lived out of town. She would listen quietly and carefully give me her love and support. Then she would gently pat my hand and say, "this too shall pass" always with her sweet smile of caring.
She always made me feel better. She loved the kids at Ridge Road, she was always at the top of her game, such a smart and wise lady. I know you both are very proud of both your Mom and Dad. They will live on in our memories and will never be forgotten.
God Bless you both and your families, and thank you for sharing your Mom and Dad!
Sincerely, Linda and Mike Strope
