Albert Ellison

Albert R. Ellison, 80, of Watkins Glen, died March 15, 2007 at Schuyler Hospital.

He was born in Watkins Glen, NY to Atty’s Arthur R. and Edwina Mack Ellison. He was an avid photographer and co-owner with his wife Marion of Ellison Photo Services in Watkins Glen for over 50 years.

He was employed by Willard and Elmira Psychiatric Centers and Schuyler ARC for twenty years prior to retirement. He was active in IOOF serving in the Encampment and the Canton for many years.

He was predeceased by both his parents and a brother, Arthur J. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Marion A., brother, William N. Ellison, Supreme Court Justice retired; nephews, Harry A. and William N. Jr.; nieces, Mary P., Anne E. Snelling and Pamela Nichols; and seven grandnieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St. Watkins Glen, this Saturday, March 17, from 2-5pm; with funeral services there at 5:00pm; Pastor Leonard Miller officiating, burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery in Watkins Glen at a later date.
