Alfred M Landon Sr (Al)

84 of Burdett, NY passed away on May 30th, 2023 in his home surrounded by family. 

Al was born to Ellen and Edwin Landon on December 29, 1938 in Trumansburg, NY. Al loved to hunt with his sons and his friends. He loved old music and cars, horseback riding, snowmobiling, camping, collecting records and to dance. He always dragged his daughters and granddaughters on to the dance floor any chance he could get. He enjoyed flea marketing, telling stories, sitting on his front porch, spending time at his winter home in Dunnellon Florida and at the family cabin in the Adirondacks.

Al is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth Landon of 62 years and 5 children Bob (Shelly) Landon, Pam (Tom) Taylor, Pat (John Swayze) Wilcox, Butch (Traci) Landon and Lorie (Mark) Mann. Along with 13 Grandchildren Alicia Wilcox, Andrew Wilcox, Nicholas Dunlop, Joe Landon, Briana Colunio, Andrea Brower, Megan Donahue, Zach Landon, Stephanie Taylor, Craig Landon, Desirae Landon, Skyler Mann and Dakota Landon and 15 great grandchildren. 

There will be no funeral services. Please join us at his wishes of a celebration of life at the Burdett Fire House on Sunday, June 11th from 1pm-4pm.
