Ann Ella (Adams) Bugbee

Formerly of Sidney, NY, died peacefully at Bethany Manor Nursing Home in Horseheads, NY on April 9, 2023, at the age of 91.

Ann is survived by her children; Pamela (Steve) Laurion of Menomonee Falls WI, Peter (Mary Bennett) Bugbee of Benbrook TX, Paul (Stacy Nunberg) Bugbee of Putnam Valley NY, Polly (Frank) Garrison of Odessa NY and Patrick (Amy) Bugbee of Jacksonville FL. And 13 Grandchildren; Richard Bennett, Michelle Leopold, Benjamin Laurion, Philip J (PJ) and Jonathan (Jack) Bugbee, Jocelyn, Sage , Nakiaha , Tassia , Autumn , Keyonna and Zuri Garrison and Brianna Bugbee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years E Joseph Bugbee and her sister Nancy Gillette.

Ann was born on January 28, 1932, in Canandaigua NY to Lester and Bertha (Lewis) Adams. After graduating from Canandaigua Academy in 1949 she attended Highland Hospital School of Nursing in Rochester NY and became a Registered Nurse in 1952. She married E Joseph Bugbee on July 5, 1952.  Ann worked at Sidney Hospital and others, for the American Red Cross and The Jacksonville Blood Bank. Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bridge, square dancing, travel, and volunteer work at The Sidney United Methodist Church.

There will be no services at Ann’s request. To honor Ann’s memory please consider donating to the American Red Cross and donate blood as often as possible.
