Age 60, of Hector, passed away unexpectedly on Jan 2,2023 at home.

The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen on Friday (Jan. 6) from 12pm-2pm, followed by a funeral service at 2pm; Rev. George J. Norton, Jr. officiating; burial at Hector Presbyterian Cemetery in Hector, NY. A Dish-to-Pass dinner will be held following the burial at the Logan Community Center, 5242 CR 4, Burdett.

He was born in Montour Falls on April 4,1962 to Donald R and Barbara (Burnett) Brown of Burdett, NY.

Survived by his beloved wife of 36 years Lisa (Taylor) Brown; daughter Melinda Brown (Richard Button); son Philip and Leann (Lupo) Brown; grandsons, Jacob Klee and Bentley Button; step-grandchildren, Hailie, Daniel, Drake, Cadance, Emilie and Jaxon Button; mother Barbara (Burnett) Brown; sister Lori (Brown) Allen; nephew Joshua Brown; sister-in-law Rebecca Kipferl (Jeff Kipferl), Brenda Joly (John Joly), and several cousins, and loads of friends.

Predeceased by grandparents, Ralph and Hazel (Fitch) Burnett, Nelson and Hazel (Shipman) Brown; father, Donald R Brown; aunt Nona (Burnett) Schimizzi; and uncle H. Wallace "Wally" Burnett; brother in-law Robert Allen, and several great-aunts, uncles, cousins and lots of friends.
