Carol Carnahan
Age 77, of Lodi, passed away December 20, 2016.
The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 1pm-3pm; followed by a memorial service at 3:00pm at the funeral home.
She is survived by her fiancé and companion of 37 years, Thomas Stewart; children, Terrie Stewart of Burdett, James Carnahan, Jr. (Shelia) of Redfield, NY, Linda (James) Potter of Harrisburg, NC, and Karen (John) Darling of Interlaken; 3 brothers, Marvin Secord, Harold (Frances) Secord, and Howard (Diane) Secord, all of Burdett; and sister, Barbara (Bob) Smith; 8 grandchildren, Kristin, Christopher, Keli, Jake, Jaimie, Nikki, Kyle, and Jenna; and 2 great-grandchildren, Thalia and Laurianna.
Carol was born in Waterloo, NY, the daughter of George and Alice Secord. Carol was vice-president and secretary to Tom Stewart Milk Haulers Corporation for 31 years. Carol was a member of the Penn Yan Ladies of the Moose Auxiliary and the Burdett Presbyterian Church. Carol also loved waitressing and hosting at Scuteri’s Restuarante & Pizzeria for many years. She also loved crafting and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
