Charles L. Tuttle
87, of Burdett, NY, passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer on January 16, 2016. Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Manona “Nonie” Tuttle of Burdett; daughter, Sheila Tuttle of Burdett; son, Charles L. Tuttle II of Elmira; seven brothers and sisters, Ellen Voorhees of Ohio, RuthAnna Smith of Arkport, NY, Jeanne Payne of Virginia, Jack Tuttle of South Carolina, James Tuttle of Florida, Harold Tuttle of Ohio, and Fran (Harold) Secord of Burdett; and sister-in-law, Alice (Russell) Eastwood of Watkins Glen. Charlie “Tut” was a lifelong member of the Burdett United Methodist Church. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator and Fine Grade Operator for Upstate New York Operating Engineers Local 158; and enjoyed raising his cattle and farming. He was a member of the Watkins Glen Elks Lodge BPOE 1546 and the Loyal Order of the Moose #426 of Montour Falls.
