Christopher Daniel Smith

Age 51, of Pine City, NY, went home to God on October 28, 2023, after an extended battle with cancer.

Chris was born in Allentown, PA on August 28, 1972, the son of Albert and Helen Sullivan.  He graduated from Horseheads High School in 1991. 

He is survived by his wife Christina M. (Christian) Smith; mother Helen Sullivan; brothers and sister, Henry, Joel, and Melanie; daughter Alyssa; step-brother Kevin, step-sister Jennifer; and several nieces and nephews. 

Chris was a fun-loving soul, with an off-beat sense of humor and loved to laugh and joke.  He was a phenomenal cook and had a real zest for life.  He was always active and could never sit still!   He really enjoyed being outdoors.

He was passionate about watching the Pittsburg Steelers and Mets play and win.    He was a much-loved husband and son, and a very dear friend.  He will be missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4^th St., Watkin Glen on Thursday (Nov. 2) from 12pm-1pm; followed by a funeral service at 1pm; and burial at Tyrone Union Cemetery.
