Corey J. Drake
Age 32, of Watkins Glen, passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2021 due to an unforeseen medical condition.
He was predeceased by his father David S. Drake; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Corey is survived by his beloved cat, best friend and roommate “Dookie”; he is also survived by his mother Alice Newell Hill (Brad Golden); brother Kyle Drake (Samantha Rose); sister Brenda Hill (Chuck Morgan), Lindsay (Zach) Wittig, uncle’s Danny (Janet) Drake, and Ronnie (Madeline) Drake; aunts Kathy (Donny) Adams, and Pam Alston; several cousins and 2 nieces, that he loved dearly. In addition, Corey had a very close group of friends that he loved like family and cherished their time together.
Corey was a respected member of the brewing community and was master brewer at Two Goats Brewing in Hector. He had a passion for crafting great brews. Corey was also a talented artist and had his own unique style. He also enjoyed skateboarding and soccer.
Corey will be remembered for his infectious smile and sense of humor, his love for animals, his generosity and kindness, his humble and gentle nature along with his creativity.
A Celebration of Life will be held for friends and family at Two Goats Brewing on Sunday May 16, 2021 from 1pm-4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Corey’s memory to the Schuyler County Humane Society, PO Box 427, Montour Falls, NY 14865 (or online at SchuylerHumane.org)
