Darlene K. Bingham
Age 63, of Burdett, NY, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her father, Edward C. Lott; mother, Flora Givin Lott; and grandmother, Gladys Lott. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Doug Bingham; children, Benjamin (Robin) Bingham, and Amy Bingham (AJ Matwiejow); two beloved grandchildren, Alexis and Owen Bingham; step-mother, Virginia Lott; brother, Rick Lott; and nieces and nephew, Rebecca, James and Jessica Lott. Darlene was active with the Schuyler County Board of Elections, Democratic Committee, and the Logan Community Center. Darlene was a gifted seamstress and quilter, a skilled cook/baker and a dedicated gardener, paying special attention to her rose gardens. Darlene was passionate about her love for animals, helping them in any way she could. A special thank you to Care First-Hospice, Seneca View, Schuyler Hospital Rehabilitation team, and Cayuga Cardiology for their compassionate care over the past 6 months. According to her wishes, services will be private. There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, August 30th from 12-4pm at the Logan Community Center.
