Delphine L. Funk
Age 83, of Burdett, NY, passed away unexpectedly in North Carolina while visiting her daughters home on December 24, 2012. The family will receive friends and relatives from 1:00pm-2:00pm at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Thursday, January 3, 2013; followed by a funeral service at 2:00pm; and burial at the Union Cemetery of Hector, Burdett, NY. Delphine was born in Nebraska, daughter of the late Fred and Alvina Neben. She was predeceased by her husbands, Allen Utter and Louis Funk. She is survived by five daughters, Jane (Tom) Stevens of Georgia, Cheryl (Del) Cummings of Hector, Nellie Monroe of Watkins Glen, Barbara (Bill) Church of Odessa, and Janice Linsley of Elmira; brother, Harvey Neben of Walton, NY; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Delpine especially loved casinos and bingo. She was a member of the Hector Presbyterian Church Euchre Club, Montour Falls Moose #426, and formerly the Senior Bowling League in Watkins Glen.
