Dolores “Dutch” Colunio
Age 85, of Watkins Glen, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday from 1-2pm at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen; followed by a funeral service at 2:00pm at the funeral home. A committal service followed by burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Watkins Glen. Dolores was born on September 4, 1927 in Mt. Morris, NY, one of nine children born to the late Donald and Mary Gaylord. Doloros was a member of the Moose Lodge #426 of Montour Falls and the American Legion Post #1612 of Big Flats. She was predeceased in 1994 by her husband Nicholas Colunio; also brothers, Gordon, Loren, and Richard Gaylord; sisters, Betty Morley, Norma Davis and Dora Gaylord; daughters, Bonnie Lou Colunio and Kathy Deidrichs; and a grandson, Steven Aguirre. She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Tom) Randall and Linda (Bobby) Naylor, all of Watkins Glen; sisters, Jeanette Margreno of Watkins Glen and Bernie (Joe) Salamendra of Dundee; 9 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
