Donald “Steve” Rappleye
Age 64, of Watkins Glen, passed away April 11, 2022.
The family will receive friends and family at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Saturday, April 16, from 11am-1pm; followed by a funeral service at 1pm; and burial at Tyrone Union Cemetery.
Donald was predeceased by his father Winston Rappleye and two brothers, James and Kevin Rappleye.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Bonnie; four sons, Donald Rappleye Jr. of Fort Wayne, Ind., Jesse (Jaime) Rappleye of Dresden, Corey (Sarah) Rappleye of Watkins Glen, and Logan Rappleye of Montour Falls; mother Mary Rappleye; three brothers, John (Peggy) Rappleye of Beaver Dams, Gary Rappleye of Caitlin Hill, and Winston Rappleye of Watkins Glen; and six grandchildren whom he adored.
Don loved the outdoors and farming, and especially spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was loved by his family and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
