Elizabeth “Liz” A. Landry
Age 77, of Watkins Glen, passed away on Sept. 8, 2016.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., on Tuesday (Sept. 13) from 4pm-7pm; followed by a funeral service at 7:00pm at the funeral home. A committal service and burial will be held Wednesday at 10am at Montour Cemetery.
Liz was born in Montour Falls on August 22, 1939, the daughter of Howard and Delora Hubbard. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, June Magura. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Kenneth G. Landry, Sr.; children, Debra (Jeff) Snyder, of Virginia, Mary Kay (Vern) Allyn, Lindley, NY, Kenneth Landry Jr. (Amy), Watkins Glen; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, William (Julie) Landry of Watkins Glen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Liz and Ken raised their three children in Watkins Glen. They were great supporters of their children sports and were named “Spectator of the Year” twice. Liz was a communicant and greeter at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church in Watkins Glen. And, she worked at International Salt Co. for 24 years before retiring.
