Ella Mae Slattery

Age 90, of Watkins Glen, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 30, 2010.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Thursday, from 2-4pm; a funeral service will be held immediately following at 4:00pm; Rev. Beverly Karr-Lyon officiating. Burial will be held Friday at Holy Cross Cemetery, Watkins Glen.

She was predeceased by her husband John Slattery. She is survived by her children, Richard (Melanie) Kaminski of Rockledge, FL; and Joyce Thorpe of Watkins Glen; sister Hazel (Frank) Compton of Burdett; 7 grandchildren, Greg (Cathy)Thorpe of Watkins Glen, Peggy (Martin) Roberts of Rock Stream, Lori (John) Greuber of Ohio, Robin (Jeffrey) Drake of Odessa, Chris (Jennine) Kaminski of FL, Brett (Erin) Kaminski of Florida, Beth (Chris) Barnes of Elmira; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by special friend Elizabeth Schmizzi and many other dear friends.
