Esther Sebring Stewart
Age 99, of Montour Falls and formerly of Rochester, NY, passed away peacefully at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls on Saturday, February 19, 2011.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date in the spring. Esther was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Harry L. Stewart. She is survived by her sons, Scott Stewart of Rochester, NY; and Terry Stewart (Lisa Oldroyd) of Montour Falls; grandchildren, Christopher (Jody) Stewart, Benjamin (Naomi) Stewart, Rebecca Stewart, Caryn (Kevin) Herzog, John Stewart, and Laura Stewart; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Maya Stewart, Desiree and Tyler Stewart, Emma Kate Herzog, and Jacob Herzog. Esther was born and raised in Rochester, NY, where she worked as a store manager for the former Fannie-Farmer Candy Company. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and especially enjoyed being with family. Her joy was Keuka Lake, where she spent 50 years and treasured her walks and swims.
