May 5, 2008 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital, Lenoir, NC, Ethan Thomas is cherished by his loving parents, Alex Gilmore, of Lewisville, NC and Amber Johnson, of Millport, NY; paternal grandparents, Larry and Anne Gilmore, of Lewisville, NC; maternal grandparents, Harry “Pete” and Robin Johnson, of Millport, NY, and maternal great-grandfather, Robert Smalley, of Beaver Dams, NY. Ethan is also survived by his aunts, Ashland Gilmore, Emily, Lydia and Laura Johnson; uncles, Jared and Caleb Johnson; and cousins, Dominick and Cameron Johnson. Ethan’s eyes never saw the light of day. But he is now, and forever will be, beholding the beauty of the Bright Morning Star, even God Our Father who gave him as a gift to us.
