Franklin Lee Howard
Age 73, of Burdett, New York, lost his 30-year battle with heart disease on November 24, 2019. Lee was born to Marcella Greenwood and Franklin Everett Howard in Waverly, New York. He had his own car repair business for several years, worked for Sweitzer Aircraft, Chemung Canal Bank, Bobs Honda, Delta Airlines and Lowes.
He was predeceased by his parents Everett Howard and Marcella Howard, brother Evan Howard, an infant daughter Mary, and grandson Austin Howard.
Lee is survived by his wife, Rebecca Geiger Howard, step-son Kenneth (Jennifer) Peters of Burdett, New York, step-daughter Jennie (Kevin) Musewicz of Fort Valley, Georgia, sister-in-law Lenora Howard of Florida, son Frank (Maureen Howard) of Nebraska, daughter Julie (Edwin) Morales of Waverly, New York, son Joseph (Kate) of Texas, his special dog Taffy, and special friends Earl and Esther Geiger. He is also survived by grandchildren Franklin Alex Howard, Emily Howard, Erica Morales, Justin Morales, Julia Hines, Austin Peters, Emma Hines, and Kurtis Musewicz, and three great-grandchildren.
Lee has donated his body to Upstate Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at Glen Baptist Church, Watkins Glen, New York on December 7, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
