Fred Karius

Fred L. Karius
Age 53, of Montour Falls and formerly Hector, passed away on May 23, 2015 at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. He was born on October 25, 1961 in Ithaca, NY, the son of Fred D. and Doris Karius. He worked as a former vineyard operator with his father, and later owned and operated Karius Construction. Fred was predeceased by his father. He is survived by his mother, Doris L. Karius of Hector; son, Brandon (Jess) Karius of Lodi; sister, Sherry (Jeff) Mangus of Burdett; brothers, David (Debbie) Karius, Don Karius and Scott (Mary) Karius, all of Hector; and a special friend, Rob Fallon of Lodi. A graveside service will be held at Seneca Union Cemetery in Valois at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 2, 2015.
