Dailey, Gerald (Jerry) L., age 79 and a long-time resident of Elmira went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 7. 2015. Jerry was born in Williamsport, PA.; March 24, 1935 to William Dailey and Dorothy Emerick Dailey; both deceased. He is predeceased by his brother Charles (June) and sister, Judy (Rand) Murnane. He is survived by sisters Penny (Charles) Noll who shared birthdays with him, Linda (Edward-deceased) Coleman, Ethel (Jan) Verkey; and brothers William (Rita), Dennis, Duane (Charlotte) and Gary Dailey; and a loving step-mother, Marion Dailey. As a young man Jerry did superior paint jobs and mechanical work on foreign cars at a gas station at the end of Kinyon Street for many years. Throughout his life he enjoyed buying, fixing and selling cars. His love was in the junk business. He enjoyed getting a good bargain on anything and passing those savings onto family and friends. Jerry was loved and will be missed by his family and friends. He will be in our hearts forever.
