Glenna Versa Ergott

Age 100, of Watkins Glen, was carried by angels to Heaven on Monday October 7, 2024.

Glenna was born on March 4, 1924 in Bloomfield, MO, the daughter of Gardiner and Bessie Matheny.  She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Ergott, and longtime companion Willis Haring. 

Glenna is survived by her children; Raymond (Marcie) Ergott; and Sara Kim Andrews (Mike Jayne); sisters; Colleen Merchant and Ann Riney; grandchildren; Jim (Holly) Ergott of Corning, Bob (Lori) Ergott of Rhode Island, Erica (Matt) Edminster of Syracuse, and Josh Doolittle of Florida; great-grandchildren; Jacob, Rick, Jessica, and Emma Ergott, Kyra Edminster, Dominic Doolittle, Chris Lorello, Justin (Kayla) Lorello, and Nick (Rachael) Lorello; great-great grandchildren, Cullen Thibodeau and Scott Letendre; extended family, Michael (Patty) Bilinski, Clifford (Nancy) Boyce, Donald Boyce, Heather and Jeremy Dawson (Madaline), Molly and Colin Howard (Frederick), Matthew Boyce, Ryan and Wendy Boyce (Stella, Calvin); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen on Saturday (Oct. 12th) from 11am-1pm; followed by a funeral service at 1pm at the funeral home; and burial at Montour Cemetery.
