James Glenn
Age 57, of Watkins Glen, passed away on April 27, 2021 after a long illness.
He was predeceased by his parents, Delmar and Cecelia Sally Glenn of Burdett.
He is survived by a brother Kevin of Horseheads; nephew Travis; and uncle Dale Walter.
Jim had a long career in the Culinary Arts. He worked for many local establishments and owned his own restaurant at one time, Jimmy’s Post Time Café in Watkins Glen. His last and longest position was Executive Chef at the Montage Italian Grill at the Glen Motor Inn. At the Montage, he created a lasting legacy of outstanding recipes with a faithful following. He enjoyed teaching and mentoring anyone interested in learning the craft.
He was a devoted fan of the Seattle Seahawks, had a long-established appreciation for music, indulged in quality cigars, freely shared very strong opinions, and was a faithful friend.
