Joan Ann Lesoine
Age 87 of Burdett, NY passed away October 22, 2021. She was born in Lanesboro, PA on July 5, 1934, the daughter of Enid M. and John C Baumann.
She is survived by her daughters Karen Juckett of Florida and Gwen Bizal of New York. Grandchildren Kristen Juckett, George Juckett, Annette Bizal and John Bizal. She is predeceased by her husband Grant Lesoine of 52 years and her brother John (Skip) Baumann.
She loved her various cats and dogs and enjoyed many hobbies including art and music, including 33 years of attending the Hudson Valley Philharmonic Orchestra at the Bardavon Theatre in Poughkeepsie, NY; also, social ballroom dancing, painting, gardening, quilting and singing in the Chancel Choir of the Presbyterian Church of Watkins Glen.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Watkins Glen, the Burdett Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Ballroom Dance Clubs, Quilt Clubs and Grand Prix Fitness.
She enjoyed eating lunch at all the local eateries and shopping for fabrics at all the quilt shops.
The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen on Sunday, November 7, from 1pm-2pm. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will follow at 2pm; and a reception will follow at the Harbor Hotel.
