Kathryn “Kae” Naylor
Age 79, formerly of Beaver Dams, NY, passed away March 23, 2021.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen on Friday (March 26) from 5pm-7pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 27 at 11:00am at Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home; followed by burial at Sugar Hill Cemetery.
Kae was born in Montour Falls on October 24, 1941, the daughter of Everett and Ruth Taylor.
She is survived by her children, Craig Ormond of Acworth, GA; Chris (Callie) Naylor of Brandon, FL Scott (Terry) Ormond of Madisonville, TN, Keith (Penny) Ormond of Wayland, NY, Ernest Naylor of Zephyrhills, FL, Bobbi Kae (Gary) Moody, Valrico, FL, and Ruth (Alister) Nicholls, of Cambridge, New Zealand; sister, Mary Ellen (Steven) Weissman of New Windsor, NY; sister-in-law Wilma Taylor; special cousin Isabel Blaisdell; 22 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren, and her dog Bridget, whom she adored!
Kae and her late husband were known as the original “House Flippers”, buying, renovating, and reselling properties in New York and Florida. She was like a mom to everyone, chaperoning every school event for her children. She always made you feel like you could do anything!
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
