Kenneth L. “The Great Lard” Larson
Age 48, of Watkins Glen, passed away at home after an extended illness on Friday, December 16, 2011. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Tuesday (Dec. 20th) from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00am. The burial will immediately follow at Lakeview Cemetery, with a public reception to follow at the Mechanics Club in Montour Falls. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Susan D. Larson; children, USN Petty Officer Kristofer Larson, AWR3 of Florida and Kendra and Katherine Larson still at home; parents, Ralph “Butch” and Susan A. Larson; sisters, Pamela (Frank) Switzer of Muncie, Indiana, Bonnie Larson (and Ed McManus) of Watkins Glen, brothers Carl (Becky) Larson of Tupper Lake, NY, Erik (Debbie) Larson of Jupiter, FL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Helen Gregory of Watkins Glen; brother-in-law, Alan Gregory of Watkins Glen; and 11 nieces and nephews.
