Leonard Solomon
Age 89, of Burdett, NY, passed away August 7, 2022.
Born in Queens, NY on June 25, 1933, he was the son of Joseph and Sarah Solomon. He worked in Research and Development for E.I. Dupont in Clifton, NJ for many years. He enjoyed driving and working on old sports cars, including his MG’s. He also had a passion for flying. He built, restored, and piloted a number of small airplanes. He was a member of the EAA 533 for over 30 years.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Mary Solomon in 2020; and their daughter, Stacey Solomon; and his brother, Erwin Solomon.
He is survived by his son, Adam Solomon of Burdett; sister-in-law, Jane Coulter of Big Flats three grandchildren, Brienna, Adrienna, and Jenna Solomon; and niece and nephews, Christine (Alex) Wolcott, Stephen (Lori) Coulter, and Matthew (Ellen) Coulter.
