Lester E. Davis, Jr.

Age 87, passed away on November 16, 2010 at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls, NY.

He was the owner of Duke’s Bar & Grill in Watkins Glen, run by he and his wife for many years. He loved a good game of euchre and to bet on the horses. He is predeceased by his wife Norma Davis; parents Lester and Pauline Davis; brothers and sisters, John Davis, Olga Newell, Stella Boardman, Mary Ellen Reeder, Alice Mikel, and Dorothy Carle. He is survived by his children, Michele (Bob) Salamy, Diane (Ben) Bond, Lisa (Jamie) Wade, Jimmy Davis, Sharon Thompson, and Bob Davis; brothers, Harry (Marge) Davis and Bob (Mickey) Davis; also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A private burial at Glenwood Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family invites friends and relatives to a reception in a celebration of his life, on Sunday, (Nov 21st), from 2-4pm at the Moose Lodge in Montour Falls.
