Mae C. Deery
Age 86, formerly of Reading Center, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2011.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Bianco of Watkins Glen; sisters, Lorena Coolbaugh of Elmira, and Loretta Meade of Ithaca, and brother-in-law Edwin Weed of Millport; grandchildren, Mark (Lisa) Bianco of Reading Center, and Jennifer Bianco of Watkins Glen; and 2 great-grandsons, Joshua and Brixton; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Deery; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Earl Edmister, Mary and Donald Edmister, and Martha Weed; brothers-in-law, Francis Meade and Ward Coolbaugh; and son-in-law Sarapheno Bianco, Jr.
Mae was born on September 12, 1924, the daughter of Lawrence and Susan (Shanley) Clark. And, formerly attended the United Methodist Church of Watkins Glen.
According to her wishes there are no funeral services. A private graveside service will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery in Reading Center, at the convenience of the family.
Mae’s family wishes to acknowledge the staff of Bethany Village, Elcor Health Services, and Arnot Ogden Medical Center for the compassionate care given Mae throughout her extended illness.
