Marcella J. Ney
Age 81, of Burdett, NY, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday (June 26th) from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen; followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 1:00pm. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, John L. Ney, Sr.; four children, Deborah Edele of Burdett, John L. Ney, Jr. (and wife Marina) of South Carolina; Donna Lodge of Burdett, and Dawn Owen (and husband Bruce) of Florida; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and special niece, Barbara Smith. While living in Queens, NYC, she proudly helped her husband become a Captain with the NYPD. They moved to Burdett in 1975 to fulfill their dream of a farmer’s life. Marcella’s greatest accomplishment is the raising of her family and the loved generated to all. She lived a blessed life and will always be remembered.
