Margaret Mary Harris Age 87, of Watkins Glen, NY died September 12, 2006. Born October 22, 1918, the daughter of Martha and Frank Harris of Burdett, NY. She was predeceased by a sister, Hattie Harris (David) Gunning; a brother, James Raymond (Georgia "Jo") Harris; and two nephews, John and David (Harriette) Gunning. Her husband, George V. Henry; and son, Frederick Lewis Henry predeceased Margaret. She is survived by her children, Stuart Harris (Carol) Henry, of Rock Stream, NY; Martha Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Barlow, of Manassas, VA; six grandchildren, Jonathan James (Anita) Henry, Elizabeth Louise and Margaret Lorraine Henry, Robert De Ros, Andrew McNaughton and Sarah Allison Barlow; and two nieces, Mary Elizabeth VanDerzee and Hariet Isabelle Gunning and Margaret Louise Gunning; a niece-in-law; and several great and grand nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Watkins Glen High School and Tufts University. She was an active member of Alpha Omicron Phi Sorority for many years. Margaret was a long time resident of Liverpool, NY, and was also a member of the Liverpool Presbyterian Church and Women's Association over 50 years. She hosted foreign exchange students from several different countries and for many years traveled and visited many of them in their homeland countries. The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Saturday from 8 a.m. - 9 a.m.; a funeral service will directly follow at 9:00 a.m.; with interment at Union Cemetery of Hector, Burdett, NY.
