Marshall Wood, Sr.

Marshall J. Wood, Sr.
Age 87, of Waterloo, passed away on February 26, 2017. He was born in Oneonta, NY on June 1, 1929, the youngest son of Gilbert and Ethel Bullis Wood. He grew up in Oneonta and graduated from Interlaken High School in 1949. Marshall worked at Seneca Army Depot in Romulus. Marshall was predeceased by his parents; also daughter, Donna Poling; brothers, Vincent, Gerald and Vernon Wood; sister, Ethel Beebe; and wives, Mary Jane Swick, Margaret Wagner and Dorothy Hawthaway. He is survived by four children, Ann Rathbun (Bryan Lotz) of Watkins Glen, Ira Wagner of Syracuse, Judy Wood of Sunbury, PA and Marshall Wood Jr. of Seneca Falls; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 12pm-2pm; followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 2pm; burial at Pleasantview Cemetery in Reading Center.
