Age 86, of Watkins Glen, NY, passed away October 17, 2020.
There are no prior visiting hours. A private committal service will be held at the convenience of the family at Holy Cross Cemetery.
He was predeceased by his wife Rhea, father James, mother Mary, and brother Charles. He is survived by two sons, John and Marty Nickerson, daughter-in-law Sharon Nickerson and sisters Phyllis Switzer and Liz Paradiso. Mel worked at Shepard Niles in Montour Falls and was a United States Navy Veteran.
