Micheline Usher
Age 91, of Ft. Pierce, FL, and formerly of Reynoldsville, NY, passed away on March 26, 2016. She was born on October 18, 1924 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, just outside of Paris, France, the daughter of the late Laurent Emile Peronnet and Leonie Melanie Mathieu Peronnet. She met her late husband, Hiram Usher, near the end of WWII and the two married in Paris on September 22, 1945. She and her late husband, Hiram moved from Reynoldsville, NY to Ft. Pierce, FL in 1973. She lived life to the fullest enjoying the company of family, friends, and was a true lover of animals. She loved her work in retail where she began as a clerk and worked her way to manager of several large stores. She loved her family and took great pride in being “Nana” to her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Conrad (Mary Anne) Usher, and grandchildren Peter, Melissa and Jared Usher, all of Boca Raton, Florida; daughter, Sandra Ogborn of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; grandchildren John (Marie) Compton of Killeen, TX, Lorie Compton of Richford, NY, Joshua (Sharon) Morgan of Delphi, NY; great grandchildren Tyler Compton, Kayla Martin, Kristen Martin, Lucas Morgan, Payton and Gavin Reichter. She was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Micheline Usher and her sister Jacqueline Perronet. The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, NY on Monday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM; followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
