Mildred C. Denson
Age 95, formerly of Watkins Glen, passed away at the Demay Living Center in Newark, NY on April 16, 2017. Mildred was born in Montour Falls, NY, the daughter of Melvin and Ellena (Green) Denson. She was a retired music teacher from Watkins Glen Central School, where she taught grades K-12. Mildred was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church of Watkins Glen; member of the Schuyler County Retired Teachers Association, member of the Beta Delta Chapter and of Delta Kappa Gamma, and a member of Watkins Glen Business and Professional Women’s Club. Mildred was predeceased by her parents and her sister Carolene Denson Milligan. She is survived by Melodie and Holly, her nieces; Chip, her nephew; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Calling Hours will be held at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St. Watkins Glen, on Sunday, May 7 from 1 pm - 3 pm; followed by a graveside service at the families convenience.
