Age 86, of Burdett, passed away July 18, 2022.
Nancy was born in Burdett on June 2, 1936, the daughter of Seward and Alice (Gould) Berry. She and her late husband, James, owned and operated Teemley's Market on Franklin Street in Watkins Glen for many years. She was also a member of the Burdett Presbyterian Church. Nancy will be remembered by all who knew her as a kind and caring soul and an avid horse lover.
She is survived by three children, Amy (Walt) Lakomy, Bill (Karen) Teemley, and Roger (Susan) Teemley; brothers and sisters, Edward (Glenna) Berry, Janet (Joe) Smyder, Thanna Landon, and George (Mary) Berry; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Teemley and Irene Nelson; four grandchildren, Lindsay (Nathan) Boles, Cody Lakomy, Kaylyn (David) Sidle, and Logan Teemley; and four great-grandchildren, Madison and Luke Lakomy and Aurora and Austin Boles.
According to her wishes, private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family and burial at Glenwood Cemetery.
