Age 75, of Watkins Glen, NY passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease
She was a resident at the Manor Nursing Home in Penn Yan, NY. She was born January 24, 1945 in Russell Kansas, the daughter of Roger and Patricia T. Reinhart. Patricia was a 1962 graduate of Watkins Glen High School, and worked at the Watkins Review and Express for her father. She went on to spend several years managing The Longhouse Lodge Motel. Her happiest times were spent working at the Watkins Glen Golf Course, enjoying many friendships with “her golfers.”
Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Roger and Patricia Reinhart. She is survived by her son Kyle (Ann) Tuttle of Venice, FL, her daughter, Kelley Ellison of Dundee, NY, her grandchildren Erik Ellison of Athens, GA, Haley (Dale) Carrigan of Watkins Glen, NY, Gregory Ellison of Norfolk, VA, Adam Tuttle of Salt Lake City, UT, and Desiree Ellison of Tampa, FL. Precious great-grand daughters Parker M. Carrigan, and Emma R. Ellison. Special friends Germaine Washington, and Jeanette Franzese.
With Alzheimer’s, it takes a village of support, so her family would like to give special thanks to all the staff at the Manor Nursing Home in Penn Yan, her friends and neighbors at The Watkins Glen Middle School Apartments, Joyce Ameigh, Gloria Scranton, and Shannon Slater of Schuyler County Office of The Aging. The love, compassion, and care you gave our mother these past few years will forever be appreciated.
Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. The family will have a celebration of Patricia’s life at a later date.
