Age 59, of Watkins Glen, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at home.


The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Sunday, August 26th, from 2:00-3:00pm; a memorial service in his memory will he held at the funeral home at 3:00pm.


He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Karrie Ann Shaw, of Big Flats, Philip V.C. Wright, of Watkins Glen, Deborah Wright, of Watkins Glen, Melissa (Randy) Personius, of Odessa; brothers, Dale Wright, of Dundee, Leland (Shalane) Newell, of Monterey; sister, Carol (Gene) Crosson, of Lindley; brother-in-law, Ronald Crosson, of Chambers; six grandchildren, Juanita Wright, Shawn Wright, Marlana Hetherington, Charles and Nicholas Wright and Adrionna Personius; and several nieces and nephews.


Phil served his country for 4 years in the Marine Corps and drove truck for Polio-Dairy in Watkins Glen and Campbell. He and his wife would have celebrated 39 years of marriage today (August 17). His favorite hobby included fishing.
