Phyllis A. Patterson
Age 75, of Erin, NY, passed away May 1, 2015 with family and friends at her side. She was born June 1, 1939, daughter of the late Duane and Bessie (Simpson) Patterson. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Shirley (Hughes) and Helen (Dino) Patterson. Phyllis is survived by her son, Steve (Wendy) Weber; and her grandchildren, Kevin (Mindy) and Megan; and great-granddaughter, Paige Grace. Her pride in, and love for grandchildren was immeasurable. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Sherry (Phil) Beiver, Brenda (Tom) Spernyak and James (Felicia) Strong; grandnieces and nephews, Peter, Lydia, Joseph, Katherine, Kurtis and Jamie; and many loving cousins. She leaves behind her long time friend and roommate, Jeanne Breon and loving neighbors, Steve and Sandy. Those friends made her wish to be at home for as long as possible come true. Above all else, Phyllis cherished her family and friends. She was a caring mother, a devoted aunt, and an amazing and wonderful grandmother. The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Wednesday, May 6th, from 6pm-8pm; followed by a funeral service at 8:00pm. A private burial at the Union Cemetery of Hector in Burdett, NY will be held at the convenience of the family.
