Raymond Bailey
Age 62, of Watkins Glen, passed away March 21, 2020.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Bailey. They would have celebrated 42 years of marriage on April 22 this year. He is also survived by four children, Christopher Bailey, Craig Bailey, Shawn Bailey (Raelyn Swank) and Brandon Bailey; five grandchildren, Jordan, Sidney, Carter, Aiden and Isabella; eight brothers and sisters, Lew (Marge) Bailey, Linda Moran, Pauline (Bill) Young, Philip Bailey, and Theresa (Joseph) Vondracek, Carolyn Troccia, Francis Bailey, and Marsella (Dana) Austin; brothers-in-law, Larry (Becky) Wager, and Kevin (Meg) Wager; and several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
Ray worked as a pit foreman at Skuba Construction in Alfred Almond, NY, and worked at States Farms and Borg-Warner. His hobby for over 40 years was working as a mechanic on motor vehicles. He recently celebrated 16 years of sobriety, proudly sharing this accomplishment with his family. His sobriety made him love and appreciate his family life.
