Age 95, of Watkins Glen and formerly of Beaver Valley and Horseheads, NY passed away November 21, 2021.
Rita was born in Vintondale, PA, the daughter of the late Edwin and Mary (Kish) McConnell. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church in Watkins Glen for the past several years.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Ivan Dotts and George Acker; daughter, Bernadette (Richard) Marks; son Oliver Dotts; and brothers, Bernard and Edwin McConnell.
She is survived by her children, Ivanna (Daniel) Fenti of Florida, Nanette (Patrick) Hanley of Watkins Glen, Francis Dotts (wife Patricia Abel Dotts) of Pine City, NY, and Mary Jo (Steven) Karski of North Carolina; daughter-in-law Patricia Brace-Dotts; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
There are no services. A private family interment at Holy Name Cemetery in Ebensburg, PA will be held at the convenience of the family.
