Age 70, of Irelandville Rd., Watkins Glen, passed away July 14, 2016. The family will receive friends at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 12pm-2pm; followed by a funeral service at 2:00pm; and burial at Tyrone Union Cemetery with military honors. He is survived by his wife, Helen; 6 children, Joel (Bonnie) Smith of Elmira Heights, Melanie Terrio (Michael Peters) of Burdett, Henry (Darlene) Smith of Reading Center, Christopher (Christina) Smith of Pine Valley, Jennifer Sullivan (Ray Dove) of Elmira, and Kevin (Stacey) Sullivan of Elmira; 5 brothers and sisters, Helen Banister of Odessa, Mary Ellen Christman of Elmira Heights, Glen (Joyce) Sullivan of Addison, Jane (Bob) Sheiver of Shallotte, NC, and Jean Sullivan of Big Flats; 24 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Martha Sullivan; and a son, Fred Sullivan. Robert “Bob” was a member of the former American Legion Post #555 in Watkins Glen.
