Rodney A. Bowser
Age 62, of Bowie, Maryland, passed away August 6, 2021 in Watkins Glen, NY, as the result of a medical emergency and motorcycle accident, after a day traveling through the beautiful Finger Lakes region on his Harley, doing what he loved.
Born on November 30, 1958 in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, he is survived by his mother Deanna Howering of Tranquility, NJ; father Bruce (wife Sandy) Bowser of Ocean City, MD; brother Douglas (wife Lisa) Bowser of Hawley, PA; half-brothers David (wife Heather) Bowser of Arlington, VA, and Brad (wife Kathy) of Woodbine, MD; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncle, cousins, and many close friends. He was predeceased by his infant brother Terry and his half-sister Rebekah Hoffman.
Rodney worked as a construction carpenter, and owned and operated RAB Enterprises in Bowie, MD. He moved to his mother’s home in recent years to be her caregiver, while still working as a carpenter.
His last ride included a visit to the Finger Lakes Harley-Davidson store and the Taughannock Falls State Park in Ithaca, NY.
Cremation was arranged by the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, Watkins Glen. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Condolences and Remembrances may be left on his "Memory Wall" at www.RoyceChedzoy.com.
