RUTH MAHONEY
Age 84, of Trumansburg, NY, died April 10, 2009, at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility, Montour Falls, after an extended illness. Friends and relatives are invited to call Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen. Funeral services for Ruth will be held at the funeral home at 12 noon, with Rev. J. Keith Kissel officiating. A committal service and burial will be held at Grove Cemetery in Trumansburg at 1:15pm.
She is survived by a niece, KathyAnn (Don) Tatone, of Savage, MN and their daughters, Amy and Jennifer; nephew, Jef (LeeAnn) Frost, of LaBelle, FL and their daughter, Tess; nephew, John (Mary) Mahoney, of Trumansburg, and their sons, Matthew and Todd; niece, Joan(Charles) Seager, of Pembroke Pines, FL and their sons, Michael, Raymond, Kenneth and Charles; Patricia Mahoney, and her children, Lorrie, Lois, and Richard. She was predeceased by her husband Clair Mahoney, brother Robert Curtis, and sister Mary Cutler, nephew Richard Mahoney and great-nephew William Mahoney.
Ruth worked as a secretary for the former G.L.F. Company and Surgical Associates in Ithaca, and attended the Cayutaville Methodist Church.

CLAIR V. MAHONEY
TRUMANSBURG - Clair V. Mahoney, age 81, of Trumansburg, NY, died August 16, 2003, at Cayuga Medical Center, following a brief illness. He is survived by a wife, Ruth (Curtis) Mahoney; nephew, John (Mary) Mahoney, of Trumansburg; niece, Joan (Charles) Seager, of Pembroke, FL; niece, KathyAnn (Don) Tatone, of Savage, MN; nephew, Jef (LeeAnn) Frost, of LaBelle, FL; brother-in-law, Robert (Doris) Curtis, of Ithaca; and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. Clair was a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor for over 30 years at Tompkins Community Hospital in Ithaca. He was a veteran of WW II, and member of American Legion Post 676.
