Susan Caslin

62, of Hector, NY, passed away peacefully in care of her children, on Friday, November 15, 2013. The family will receive friends and relatives from 4pm-6pm on Tuesday, November 19th, at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen. A memorial service will be held at 6pm at the funeral home. Susan is survived by her father, George Bond, Sr. (Beverly) of Hector; sons, Christopher Caslin of Burdett, Keith (Melanie) Caslin of Watkins Glen; daughter, Kathy (John) VanNorman of Hector; sisters, Debbie (Skip) Opdyke of Hector, Viola (Paul) Woodworth of Hector, Linda (Charlie) Knapp of Spring Hill, Leslie (Scott) Crane of Montour Falls; brothers, Charlie Bond of Hector, Tim (Cathy) Bond of Burdett, George Jr. (Rita) Bond of Hector, Craig (David) Bond of Denver; sisters-in-law, Patricia (Bill) Larsen of Interlaken, Pamela (Raymond) Veins of Big Flats, Debra Gross of Corning, and Angela Bond of Hector; brothers-in-laws, Jonathan (Nancy) Caslin of Corning; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Larry, mother Barbara (Fredericks) Miller, sister Patricia Bond, brothers, Bruce and Larry Bond. Susan worked for Watkins Glen Central School for 28 years.
