McCRAY, Theodore D.
Age 82, of Beaver Dams, passed away on September 27, 2013. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Wednesday (Oct. 2) from 4-6pm; with a funeral service immediately following at 6pm; Rev. Anne Campbell officiating; burial will be held Thursday at 10am at Hope Cemetery in Corning with military honors. Ted was predeceased in 2010 by his loving wife of 46 years, Elsie; parents, Clarence and Edith; brothers, Richard and Robert; and sister, Dorothea Henry. He is survived by his sons, David (Tiphanie) McCray of Jemez Springs, NM; Dennis McCray of Au Sable Forks, NY; sister-in-law and husband, Norma and Richard Bannister of Montour Falls; sister, Frances Jane Galucki of Edmond, OK; and grandson, Kelson McCray. Ted graduated in 1949 from Waverly High School and served in the US Army. He retired in 1996 from Schweizer Aircraft where he worked as an accountant. He was also a member of the Moreland Community Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder and various other capacities in his church for many years.
