Walter Keller II

Age 55, of Burdett, NY, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 20, 2007. There are no prior visiting hours. A celebration of his life will be held at Hazlitt Winery, next Monday, November 5, from 6-9 p.m. Interment will be Tuesday, 12 noon at Lake View Cemetery, Interlaken, NY. He is survived by two brothers and a sister, Gretchen Ann Barr (husband, Marc) and (nephew, Sasha) of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Henry "Hank" Bassett Keller (wife, Janice) and (nieces, Samantha and Liesl) of Ft. Jackson, NY; and brother, John "Jack" Frank Keller of Burdett; aunts and uncles, John Thomas and Hester Bassett of Leonard, TX, Henry and Mary Alta Day of Aromas, CA, Charles and Betty Jane Calhoun of Valois, and Frank Wheeler and Lillian Bassett of Russell, NY. He was predeceased by parents, Walter E. Keller in 2003, and Lois B. Keller, January 31, 2007. After getting his degree in English and Music at SUNY Albany, he headed off to California for a bit. But, as we all do, he came back to NY. He worked for Cornell on the computers, and did the H&R Block thing with Mom and Pop. The blues keyboard was his passion, and he did it very well. Blues Monday at the Nines, with Pete Panek and the gang - nuff said. So, play the blues and think of Walter!! Love you all!!
