Age 68, of Odessa, NY, passed away unexpectedly as the result of a heart attack on Saturday, September 17, 2016. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Wednesday (Sept. 21) from 4pm-7pm; followed by a memorial service celebrating his life on Thursday at 10am at the funeral home; and burial at Hector Union Cemetery. Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Harold Mosher and Florence Kelley, infant brother Gary, and sister-in-law, Barbara. He is survived by his loving companion and friend of 19 years, Roxanne Edsall; children, Holly Mosher and Nicole Lucieer of Ithaca, and their children, Tyrin and Avery; Ryan Mosher and fiancée Stephanie Bogaczyk of Chicago; Jason and Emily Edsall and their children, Jacob and Abigail of Big Flats; brothers and sisters, Harold Mosher of Burdett, Robert, Sr. (Charlotte) Mosher of Millport, Marlene (Jim) Rockwell of Montour Falls, Roger Kelley of Montour Falls, and Kevin (Karen) Kelley of Burdett; and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. Wayne was an avid hunter & outdoorsman; He loved the New York Yankees and cheering on the Syracuse Orange; He always looked forward to summer when he and Roxanne could take summer drives in his red Corvette; He enjoyed spending time with friends near and far, especially during his 50th High School Reunion this past June; Wayne was the world’s best “Papa” and kept busy chasing after his grand kids and swimming with them in the pool; He was a meticulous gardener and prided himself on having the best lawn, shrubs and flowers; In his retirement, he worked hard improving his golf swing; Wayne rarely relaxed, but when he did, he spent time on the couch watching NASCAR with his dogs. Wayne always made time to help friends and family with whatever they needed. His energy was endless and his easy going personality was comforting and inviting to everyone he met. He was certainly loved by all who knew him and will be missed dearly.
