William R. Davenport, Sr.
Age 72, of Watkins Glen, passed away July 12, 2022.
A celebration of his life will be held at his home at 3545 Cross Rd., Watkins Glen on Saturday, July 30 from 1pm-4pm. A service will be held at 1:00pm.
Bill was born on July 29, 1949 in Bloomsburg, PA. He graduated from the Bloomsburg Area High School in 1968.
He is survived by his son, William R. (Shannon) Davenport of Gloucester, Virginia; and daughter, Sue Ann (Richard) Zima of Gloucester, Virginia; two sisters, Diane (David) Abele, and Virginia (Donald) Yoder; four grandchildren, Christian Davenport, Clayton Davenport, Harrison Zima and Hayden Zima; niece Traci Yoder, and nephew Allen Dolan.
Bill worked for Pipe Liners Local Union #79 and Local Union #798, as well as for Hull Corporation in Pennsylvania.
He was a passionate outdoorsman and over the years loved riding his Harley Davidson. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends
